I am a single Father living in a Los Angeles Suburb.  I have been a General Contractor since 2001 and self-employed in the residential remodeling business since 1991.  I attended Elementary School in West Los Angeles (Palms Elementary), Middle school, Senior High School, Community College and State University in the San Fernando Valley, California.  I was married for thirteen years and have a six year old daughter.  She is the sunshine of my life. After my Divorce I began attending school again to finish my degree in English.  I would like to become a public school teacher and eventually a College instructor.  

My interest are quite diverse:  Astronomy, Cosmology, home remodeling, Olympic style Weightlifting, track & field, our current debt situation/the future of our country and the history of our Nations' birth, World religons, the life of Jesus, History of the former Soviet Union, Acting & theater, parapsychology- and on a humorous note my daughter just said that one of my interests is: "blasting myself to Jupiter to die - on purpose" :)   Also, psychology and spirituality are among my field of interests.  Oh, and journaling has becoming a Godsend in the last two years.American Football should be outlawed because it is excessively violent and injurious to it's participants - but I really love it!!
